Which Colors are in a Rainbow?

A rainbow shows colors which can be created by monochromatic spectral energy distributions. Note that there is orange, yellow, green, and blue. The blue tends to purple at the short wavelength end of the spectrum. The long wavelength end is orange red. There is no pure red in the rainbow and the green and blue sections are rather small.
